ACI's Education Program provides a globally acknowledged, portable, professional qualification that enhances career prospects, improves job performance, and sets benchmarks within the industry. ACI regularly communicates with a wide range of national Regulators on the education and training of market participants. ACI also works closely with regulatory bodies in a number of countries to ensure that market standards, ACI’s examinations and regulatory requirements all find common ground.

Certificates & Diploma's

ACI provides a suite of specialized examinations targeting Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Derivatives, Repos, Asset Liability and Risk Management for front, middle and back-office staff. All of the ACI exams are in English and computer based. The Dealing Certificate and the Operations Certificate are also available in German. Training companies and business schools provide class-room training and distance learning materials which help you prepare for your exam.. Study packs and trainers are available to help you prepare for your exam.

Introductory Level

Operations Certificate (brief summary) — The ACI operation Certificate offers delegates both technical and operational learning as well as ethical behaviour principles expected from someone working within Middle and back Office, the syllabus.

Global Code Certificate (brief summary) — previously ACI certified learners understanding of the ACI Model Code, from June 2017 ACI will be certifying delegate understanding of the Principles covered by the New Global Code of Conduct, and the understanding of the practical application of these principles


Advanced Level

Diploma (brief summary) — The ACI Diploma is the advanced level learning for Financial Market practitioners.


Expert Level

Specific expert Diploma modules (brief summary) — The ACI has developed expert level Diplomas focussing on an in depth and expert understanding of specific products. Currently ACI offers 4 expert Diploma modules:

Board of Education

The Board of Education (BOE) is responsible for and advises ACI’s Executive Board on all decisions concerning formal education within ACI that is of an international nature. It proposes an ongoing strategy, defines the format and content, and also implements a marketing and communication policy of ACI’s education and examination program.
