Kim Winding Larsen is the President Delegate for ACI FMA since September 2019.

Kim’s career started in 1980 at Danske Bank A/S and throughout the following 39 years, Kim has built a long and prosperous professional path at the bank, where he held several management and senior leadership roles, enlightening that his connection to the financial markets started early on.

Kim left the company in 2019 to embrace a new adventure as President Delegate of ACI FMA.

Kim counts 30 years of professional affiliations in innumerous entities related with Financial Markets in Scandinavia and Denmark and next year (2021), he will celebrate 20 years of ACI active collaboration and participation. Kim’s effective cooperation contemplate various ACI roles during the course of the years:

  • 1997 – 2001: Chair of the Education Board - ACI Forex Danmark;
  • 2001 – 2019: President for ACI FOREX DANMARK and Head of DK ACI Education. Council & Voting Member at the ACI FMA International;
  • Since 2013: Vice chair - ACI International Regulatory Working Group;
  • 2014 – 2015: Member of ACI International, Steering Committee;
  • 2017 – 2018: ACI FMA European President;
  • Since 2018: Member of the ACI – Money Market Liquidity Working Group.



Rui Correia

Director and Chair of Board of Education


Rui Correia is currently Director and Chair of Board of Education for ACI FMA, having the global responsibility to deliver the education suite of the Association since 2018.

Rui has spent the first 25 years of his career working in dealing rooms, having had roles in trading, structuring and sales in internationally recognised financial institutions, in London, Madrid and Lisbon. From 2014 onwards, Rui became a Certified Trainer in financial markets, working primarily on the delivery of MiFID II related training to several market participants in Iberia.

With a Master in Finance, Rui believes that education is absolutely key for the development of all professionals working in the industry, both to develop their skills and knowledge on the markets and its products, but also to enhance the good practices which are essential for the sound functioning of financial markets.



Hayley Brooks

Education Manager


Hayley Brooks is currently Education Manager for ACI FMA. Hayley is responsible for the management of ACI FMA exams their related services and relationships and supports the Director of Education in the evolution of ACI FMA’s education strategy.

Prior to joining ACI FMA Hayley spent 17 years working for a buy-side investment advisory company in the United Kingdom, undertaking responsibilities including execution trading, marketing and compliance alongside the primary role of COO.

Hayley is dedicated to enhancing ACI FMA’s educational products and conveying their significant contribution to assisting Market Professionals in developing and demonstrating their knowledge, recognition and practice of both the markets themselves and the ethical conduct necessary to facilitate their operation.

Patricia Casal

Patricia Casal, native of Spain and France, has taken a special interest in languages at an early age.

After pursuing French studies at the official school of languages in Galicia, Patricia settled in London where she spent four years and got her first professional experience as front office manager in the hotel industry. Subsequently, having acquired a certain expertise in the hotel management in London and Paris, Patricia decided to develop her administrative skills working for different companies that led her to the banking sector where she first heard about ACI FMA.

Interested by ACI FMA’s history, spirit, ethical values and purpose, she joined the association as administrative assistant and very soon took on more responsibilities, becoming ACI FMA head office manager.

Involved within ACI FMA for more than 10 years, Patricia is committed in managing the head office and supporting the Management Board, the President and the Councillors.



Melissa Aguirre

Melissa Aguirre joined ACI FMA in April 2020 and is an enthusiastic, creative, multilingual professional that started her career in 2013 as an accounts payables clerk in the Central Union High School District in California, United States of America.

In the following years and still living in the United States of America, Melissa continued to gain professional experience in finance and accounting, having undertaken different roles in these areas: billing analyst, accountant, and executive assistant in finance.

Melissa has an MBA in Managerial Accounting from National University, San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of California, Berkeley.

She is bilingual English-Spanish and has an advanced level in French.



Sobia Abdul

Head Office Assistant (Part-time)


Sobia started her professional career as a sales advisor in a library but willing to take a new turn in her career and improving her administrative skills, she decided shifting towards an executive assistant training in 2017.
As soon as she completed her training, Sobia joined ACI France as executive assistant, where she also supports the associations COSSIOM and CNO. All of them involved in financial markets activities.
With her experience, Sobia was soon required to assist ACI FMA in various administrative tasks including assistance on the creation of the ACI FMA calendar, a useful tool listing public holidays around the world.

While continuing with her usual duties, Sobia joined in June 2020 the secretariat ACI FMA team in part-time basis, reinforcing the already existing team.

Sobia is a motivated and dynamic person and a valuable team player.
