ACI and Thomson Reuters to Host BIS FX Working Group Heads
Central bankers and Bank for International Settlements (BIS) FX Working Group committee leaders will discuss developments around the completion of Phase I of the Global Code of Conduct, including matters of development, adherence and implementation. Panel participants will include:
- Guy Debelle, Asst. Governor, Reserve Bank of Australia, FXWG BIS Markets Committee Chair
- Simon Potter, EVP Markets Group, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, FXWG Leader, Code Development
- Chris Salmon, Executive Director, Bank of England, FXWG Leader, Code Adherence and Promotion; and
- David Puth, CEO of CLS, Chair, Market Participants Group.
The Global Code of Conduct is expected to be completed in May 2017.
ACI The Financial Markets Association, has been serving global capital markets since 1957. Its educational programs and certifications are internationally recognized by central bankers and regulators. The ACI Model Code, the first global code of dealer conduct, has been routinely sourced as a guide for the FXWG Global Code initiative.
